Duality
Throughout my life I have always questioned the perception of masculinity and femininity. Between man and woman, hate and love, passion and desperation, I finally came to the conclusion that these oppositions define who I am. After years of questioning, I have accepted that my life encompasses both polarities, and the fact that I was “just born that way”.
For this project, I have selected subjects from my community who show this duality of both masculinity and femininity. Working with these subjects, I am continuing to explore my own identity and my own perception of gender.
