Growing up, I always wanted everyone to like me. I was a people pleaser. I forced myself into unwanted situations in order to gain acceptance. It has always been hard for me to accept who I really am and how others see me.

My intention with this body of work is to forgive myself for not speaking up in situations and experiences that diverted me from following my true path. These collages serve as a bridge to the more independent woman I am today.
